Application

Requirements
- In general, we prefer English native speakers; a good command of the English language is sufficient, however. Volunteers do not necessarily need teaching qualifications. It is more important that the volunteer likes to interact with children and shows initiative and motivation as well as patience.
- Volunteers should be at least 18 years old.
- Volunteers should not have any major health problems.

Training
The volunteer will go through an orientation class after arrival, starting with a city tour through Kathmandu. Later on, CEN will provide the volunteer with insights in Nepali culture and Nepali life and give tips regarding health, food, dangers and annoyances in Nepal. Depending on the length of the stay, we will also provide appropriate and individual Nepali language tuition.
